Recently we replaced our countertops. After 9 years of PINK countertops and backsplash, I finally got the upgrade I wanted and our house needed. Granite. Yay! While I was still waiting on the backsplash to be installed by my skillful father in law and husband, it seemed like a great time to upgrade the outlets from beige to clean white! It’s amazing how such a small color can make such a huge difference. While shopping for these lovely white receptacles, we found USB outlets. We talked about it while standing in the hardware store and decided one or two of these would be nice in the kitchen and around the boys phone charging station (they aren’t allowed to have their phones in their rooms – another blog post for another time). However, the price of these things was crazy at the store so Micheal looked on Amazon (if you can’t tell, we love Amazon) and low and behold, they were priced much lower and we could get a box of them! But once the backsplash was installed, I couldn’t have been happier that we took the time for a small but meaningful upgrade!
