After much deliberation over all the kinds of quick-drying towels we could get, I came across Turkish towels. They have great reviews and come in lots of colors.
Since we use them in the RV, I wanted different colors for everyone so we would know whose is whose. Quick drying was a must, and being able to use them on the beach was a major plus!
I followed the directions and washed them twice. Then I soaked them in vinegar (a tip from another buyer) to help soften them and washed them again. This really helped. After many uses they have gotten even softer.
I think these will be a long-time fixture in our RV. An extra bonus is how little space they take up when folded.
